Last weekend, 2022 five-star cornerback Domani Jackson and 2022 five-star Michigan cornerback commit Will Johnson competed together at a 7-on-7 competition in Las Vegas. The two five-stars remain tight, but would that be enough to get the USC commit out to Ann Arbor on an official visit? We discuss that on this week’s Future Brew podcast.
Von: Did you guys see on Twitter over the weekend, about Domani with him and Will Johnson playing at a 7-on-7? I don’t mean to get sidetracked here, but I think there’s a good chance they eventually get an official visit out of Domani. I have no information, like, this is not inside info, this is just strictly how I feel and my opinion, but I think they’ve got a shot to get an official visit at some point. Do you feel the same way, Jon?
Jon: Yeah, I think this is one where the Courtney Morgan hire could help a lot, too. Being in the L.A. area for a while, so I think Michigan is gonna keep chipping away here, for sure.
Stephen: And you get him with Will Johnson on a visit together — there’s giving him a chance to hang out with his buddy again. There’s another reason to come visit.
Von: Exactly. And I think it was Rivals’ EJ Holland was over there and I think he tweeted a photo of Will and Domani. And I’m pretty sure Domani’s father quote-tweeted it and said they look pretty good playing together. Something along those lines; this is not verbatim by any means. Just all of those factored in just give me a thought that they could get a visit at the very least.
