Following a successful regular season run to Indianapolis, the Nebraska Cornhuskers' 2012 season finished with two thuds. Taylor Martinez and a talented array of offensive weapons return, but the Husker defense needs to make big strides in 2013.
On the heels of multiple blowouts, U-M looked to do the same to a struggling Nebraska squad; unfortunately, Nebraska had other ideas. The 'Huskers played good D and slowed the game down considerably. In the end, however, Michigan was just too much.
With two smashing victories in the conference slate behind the Wolverines already, Nebraska comes to town in what should bring another wildly positive result. The Wolverines will look to continue their momentum heading into Columbus on Sunday.
Michigan went to Lincoln and lost, playing a majority of the game without Denard Robinson. The Wolverines put up less than 100 yards of offense without him while the defense held strong. The division can still be won, but Michigan needs some help.
The Cornhuskers struggled mightily in their first year in the Big Ten, finishing tied for last in the conference with Penn State. New coach Tim Miles is coming into a tough situation, and seems to be a few years away from turning the program around.
